Hi Yaya's!!!! I hope you are fine! I'm busy like a bee because my retreats in Tuscany are just around the corner! The first one is going to start on monday, I'm sooooo excited!!!

I have a couple of important notices:

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT: from saturday 2nd may to monday 25th may I'll not be at home and I'll be able to ship orders, only pdf patterns.

Buongiorno Amiche!!! Scrivo questo breve post per ricordarVi che sarò presente a Vicenza, ABILMENTE, ospite di Roberta de Marchi, PADIGLIONE 7 STAND 409. Al suo stand troverete tutti i miei schemi, non saranno tutti esposti, ma saranno tutti acquistabili e visionabili su catalogo, mentre le novità saranno esposte in parte. Troverete anche l'ormai amatissimo Old Salem Linen.

Io personalmente sarò in fiera giovedì e venerdì mattina. Perdonatemi se per quest'anno non ci sarò con il mio stand... ma non me la sento... E' stato un anno pesantissimo... Ci vedremo con il mio stand il prossimo anno :) Per quest'anno venitemi a trovare allo stand di Roberta :)))

** Country Sampler finishings: I received few requests about finishing instructions for the pattern designed in exclusive for The Prim Club of Country Sampler. I'm not good enough to write finishing instructions, but I hope you'll find this note helpfull, I'll post pictures of the pattern in few days:

Stitch the pattern according to the graph using 2 threads of floss.
Then sew an additional piece of fabric on the top the stitched piece, in order to can fold it in two (we'll call this piece A)
Cut another piece of fabric as long as piece A (we'll call this piece B). Put right side A with right side B together and sew leaving a small opened piece in order to turn fabric.
Turn inside out and sew the opened piece with slip stitch. Press and fold it. Now you can add a small pocket sewing a piece of fabric using slip stitch.

 

This lovely pattern has been shipped with Old Salem Linen and with my beloved logo hare :) Look... more thank 200 lil hares, all handmade!

TUSCANY STITCHING RETREAT

Hello my dear stitchers!, I'm planning a wonderful TUSCANY STITCHING RETREAT... in May 2015 (11-18 may), so there is enough time to plan everything, but there are only few rooms available, so I'll need to get a reservation asap.

I'd love to share the wonderful initiative organized by Theresa (Shakespeare's Peddler). She designed this lovely pattern and she ask only a donation. These are her words:

I don't recommend you send cash in the mail.) I am not requiring any particular donation, but can tell you that just $10 will feed two animals for a month. Five dollars will buy us ten (very needed) rolls of paper towels for keeping things clean. If you're feeling extra generous, $30 pays for neuter surgery for one male cat or kitten. Even just $2 will help us protect an animal from rabies with a vaccination.

A little bit about what we do at the shelter: Southern Pines was established in 1952 and last year accepted 5,000 unwanted, neglected, abused and lost dogs and cats from a 15-county area. We are a non-profit organization that strives to reunite lost pets with their owners, educates the public about the importance of responsible pet ownership, adopts out thousands of animals a year, sends other animals on transports and to breed-specific rescue groups, assists with hoarding, neglect and abuse cases, offers pet food to those in need, and much, much more. We operate a low-cost spay and neuter clinic that has done over 20,000 surgeries in the 3 1/2 years it has been open. We also have opened a Thrift Store and Adoption Center to assist us in our mission.

NEWS ABOUT SANTA'S THREAD KEEPERS

Hello PALS!!! I still have flu and I'm not well at all, but I'm working for you of course.

In december you did a pre-order and paid for the Santa's Thread Keepers. The thread keepers will be shipped in january, I'm still waiting for them from my painter. I know it's a long time, but as you can imagine they are hand painted one by one, and this take a lot of time.

My painter wrote me yesterday telling me she has finished some pieces and she will ship them to me today, so I can suppose I'll be able to ship some pieces to my customers during next week. Do not worry, I'll ship them as soon as they will arrive. To private customers and to shops of course. My great painter will ship some more pieces in a second shipment, so have patience.

Thanks so much for your comprehention.. they had an enormous success and sincerely I did not think to have so many pieces ordered.... So forgive me for the delay.... If you have some more question do not hesitate and send me an email :)
