Che cosa significa TPH? Significa
THE PRIMITIVE HARE, ovvero il leprotto primitive. Amo le lepri e i conigli e ho deciso di sceglierli per creare la mia linea di schemi primitive. Oggi vi presento la mia prima fatica: si intitola Samhain 1692.
Samhain è l'antico nome celtico che sta ad indicare l'odierna Halloween, mentre il 1692 è la data dei processi di stregoneria di
Salem, Massachussetts. Contrariamente a ciò che ci viene propinato, Halloween è una festa europea, di origine celtica, assai diffusa anche qui in Italia, i cui usi sono ancora vivi nelle campagne, o almeno lo erano fino a qualche decennio fa. Mio suocero, da ragazzino, usava intagliare le rape e accenderle proprio per i 'santi'.
IN ENGLISH: What means TPH? It means THE PRIMITIVE HARE. I love hares and rabbits and so I've have decided to choose them in order to create my line of primitive designs. Today I introduce you my first hard work:Samhain 1692. Samhain is the ancient celtic name which indicates the modern Halloween, while 1692 is the date of the Salem's processes of witchcraft , Massachussetts. Halloween is an European festivity, of celtica origin, diffused so much also here in Italy, whose uses are still alive in little villages, or at least they were alive till some decades ago.

Questo schema nasce come portaspilli e porta forbici. E' stato ricamato con filati DMC su lino panna 30 count. Rifilato con orlo a punto festone, e ovviamente invecchiato a forno. Ho amato moltissimo questo schema e l'ho disegnato e realizzato in un pomeriggio. Il Primitive mi riporta ad emozioni antiche e profumate di magia e di caffè....
