ANNIE'S NEEDLE ARTS FESTIVAL and PRIMITIVE CHRISTMAS DOLLS

Hello my dear Wicked Hares, it's time to talk about Christmas :) Next week, probably at the end, I'll show you my 2 last 2016 christmas patterns.... Today I wanna tell you something about a beautiful event: ANNIE'S NEEDLE ARTS FESTIVAL:  1- 5 December 2016  (Williamsburgh)

It's an exclusive, immersive, four days of pure cross-stitch sponsored by Just CrossStitch magazine that's guaranteed to teach you, relax you and above all, inspire you!

Just a short, free shuttle ride from Colonial Williamsburg, the Festival is your perfect getaway to:
Get personal instruction on exclusive first-run projects from the world's top talents.
Shop a richly stocked on-site boutique filled with cross stitch and needlecraft treasures.
Start each day with a surprise gift and end each day with new-found skills and the camaraderie of new-found friends!

Not only will you enjoy the Festival, the fine dining and the cross-stitch fun, you'll also be dazzled by Williamsburg's famous Christmas Grand Illumination on the evening of Dec. 4. Truly inspiring!

So mark your calendar for Dec. 1-5, 2016

Here you can find more infos:

I'll have a stand and there you'll find my patterns, fabric, pins.... everything you wish. I'll present also some finished primitive handmades...
For example the dolls my friend Cristina did for me:

I'll sell them at the Festival, but if you want you can order them sending me an email at: ilfiloincantato@hotmail.com
You can chose to buy the finished doll, or the pattern, or the complete kit :)))

Have fun!

MISS ISOBEL
(Stump Hare available also as pattern)

I started to sew this lovely hare starting from a pattern by Stacey Mead...
but at the end I have changed measures, dresses, ears, nose... I have
stuffed her arms and I have decided to create my own Prim (first) Hare.

Miss Isobel is an elegant hare dressed in XVIII century style.
The gown has been sewed with a blu reproduction cotton.
She is a stump doll, without legs and you can use it on your
front door to welcome spring!

MISS ISOBEL measures about 28” H

Offered at $77.00 ~ shipping costs included

For questions or to purchase any of my offerings
please email me at: order@theprimitivehare.com

Abigail Bishop: Colonial Doll

The Primitive Hare is not only cross stitch... I have created this lovely doll in october when I attend at my first important market, but I have forgotten to present her to you... Let me present you Miss Abigail Bishop...

ABIGAIL BISHOP

Abigail Bishop just said this: "I've been created with calm and patience. My name is Abigail, and I'm an ancient doll"
Abigail is a doll with a body re-built minutely and an ancient dress in American colonial style: bodice, skirt, underpants and a belt, all separately sewn.
Arms and legs can be easily fold and it is really simple to construct it. The chart contains instructions and patterns for the creation.
