WOODLAND STITCHY FRIENDS: a new series

Part of the 2025 Halloween Collection, this little hedgehog is all set for autumn magic: wearing a witch’s hat and carefully stitching away on a tiny embroidery hoop.

The model was beautifully stitched by Elisabetta on my signature Boleyn 30 ct linen, a warm and timeless fabric that adds a delicate vintage feel to the piece.

This cutie is the perfect pattern to welcome the cozy season, stitch by stitch, with candlelight and falling leaves all around. WSF: HEDGEHOG belongs to the Woodland Stitchy Friends series: a gentle celebration of magical creatures who, like us, find comfort in needle and thread as the days grow shorter. Soon I will release more animals.

I’m delighted to present The Visit, part of The Primitive Hare’s 2025 Halloween Collection (Needlework marketplace).

This haunting design has been stitched by Elisabetta on my very own fabric Dark Spell Big Cut 30 CT, a fabric that perfectly captures the mystery and depth of the season.

For those who wish to welcome The Visit into their stitching journey, you can place your orders directly through your favorite local or online needlework shops. All shops have already received the information needed to bring this design to their customers, so you may safely contact them to secure your copy.

But beware… this is no ordinary design. The lady who walks across the stitches is no mortal woman. She is the shadow of a visitor long departed, drifting between worlds on nights when the veil is thin. 2025 NASHVILLE RELEASES: HAUNTED STITCHES: the book

 Good morning, dear friends! ☕✨

Today, I’m starting to show you all the little treasures I’ve prepared for the Nashville market! 🎉 Every day, I’ll reveal just one item, creating a sort of countdown to our beloved event. ⏳💛

For today’s feature, I’m excited to present my book 📖  HAUNTED STITCHES along with a couple of accessories designed to go with it! The book includes six patterns, but so far, only five have been stitched, and only two have been photographed. 📸 No worries—once the rest are ready, I’ll be sure to share them with you!

After many years in this wonderful journey of stitching, I often find myself wanting to explore new creative horizons. As much as I love the work I do, there’s something truly exciting about discovering new talent and sharing it with all of you. So, I’m thrilled to announce a new chapter for The Primitive Hare!

For the first time, I’m delighted to introduce a collaboration with the incredibly talented artist behind The Resting Eagle, Cam. She has graciously agreed to create two adorable designs exclusively for The Primitive Hare. These patterns are now part of our collection and are available only through us, which makes this partnership even more special. 🌟

I’ve always wanted to give visibility to emerging artists, and I truly believe that Cam’s work deserves a wider audience. These designs, like all of our creations, are very close to my heart, and I hope you’ll find as much joy in stitching them as I did in bringing them into the The Primitive Hare family.

These two beautiful designs are included in this new book, I designed the other four. I’m excited to see how this collaboration will unfold and how Cam’s wonderful art will be embraced by all of you.

This is just the beginning of a new initiative I hope to continue for years to come: showcasing the work of other talented artists and sharing their unique visions with all of you. While I may not be a household name, after 15 years in the business, I feel it’s the perfect time to help lift up other artists and colleagues who deserve recognition. And let’s not forget – there’s always something new to learn from each other, no matter where we are in our creative journey.

To accompany this charming little book (trust me, it’s absolutely adorable! 😍), I’ve created a brand-new Smart Thread Keeper!  Just like the ones from my previous collection, this one also comes with five thread drops. If you’d like more, you can also purchase the extra pack containing 12 additional thread drops. 

To stitch the patterns in this book, I’ve also created a new fabric, which will be available in 30 count and 40 count. Over time, I’ll be introducing the same fabric in 18 count Aida and 35 count linen as well.

In the coming days, I’ll be revealing the other four patterns, all finished and ready to be photographed and shared! 📸✨

EARLY STITCHERS' CLUB 2022: Halloween Makers

Hello dear Early Stitchers. it’s almost Halloween!!!!! In my personal opinion the whole month of October is Hal- loween LOL. These two spooky (...) little witches will ‘make’ Halloweenish every room! You might also stitch them separately and create two small ornaments and hang them on your Halloween tree!

Third pattern in my 2021 Halloween Collection. I thought it should be nice to play the bad witch once in a life time LOL... but personally I'd always have candy on halloween night!!!!! Trick or treating is one of the most cute traditions we have!!! I'm so sorry I now live into the woods and nobody come here... but when I used to live in town I always had cauldrons full of candies and chocolates... personally I think it's cute to trick or treating also as an adult lol! LOL

My friend Cam from The Resting Eeagle has created these stunning pins inspired by The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Cam is one of the entries of The Primitive Hare Crew lol, she and her daughter are more than welcome. I want to specify that OLD pins and fobs are no more available, but we have a whole new collection! All our pins and fobs are HANDMADE and they can't be identically...

Hello my dear friends, welcome! This is the FOURTH pattern I designed for our 2020 Club. I’m late as usual but you know that this is something that is part of our club: my delays.... I mean... if once I’d not be late I think you’d really worry!!! Anyway.... This is my pattern for October. As I’m not an incredible chef I think I’ll display this pillow in my kitchen all year long LOL... What happen to pumpkins? The grew and they we carve them for Halloween... but if we carve them their spirit flies away and goes to the pumpkins heaven LOL.... This is the mysterious meaning hidden in my new Halloween pattern CARVED.

Hello friends! I'm glad to introduce you my new releases. I'd love to speak a better english in order to explain you how happy I am to have been able to create again something new. These months have been terrible for all of us and I had a lot of difficulties in finding time to sit and design... my mind was elsewhere... HALLOWEEN THREAD WAXER

Hello folk!!! My waxers are ready to be shipped. I hope you will love them!!!!

Halloween Thread waxers , handmade:

- I use only my bee wax, that I patiently gather from my 2 beehives during spring and summer, for this reason they are very limited. 

- Each waxer is different in color and shades. Some are more yellow of others.

- it takes me days to purify the wax, and it’s all handmade, I don’t buy wax... my wax comes directly from the hives

ATTENTION PLEASE:

I keep bees to help Mother Nature, I don’t sell honey because I use it to feed my own bees. The only thing I sell is beeswax because having bees is crazy expensive... Incomes from these transactions will be spent for bees.

NO BEES HAVE BEEN HARMED DURING THE WAX GATHERING. The beekeeper has been harmed a lot 😂😂😂 by boiling wax
