NEW PATTERN: PRIDE & PREJUDICE SAMPLER

My dear friend, I worked a lot of time on this project. I love Jane Austen and Pride & Prejudice is one of my favorite novel... It's so dear to my heart that I decided to design a patten, but also to create a new hand dyed linen: MERMAID BAY LINEN (30 count)

As I was sure it shall be a great piece also on Old Salem Linen... I designed 2 different version, both included in the pattern. I used only 3 DMC colors: semplicity rules!

This is my new linen MERMAID BAY.

It's a 30 ct linen, hand dyed and the color is the one on the picture above,

it's darker than in this one, really close to the color showed in the pattern.

Hello my dear friends :) I'm so happy to return to post some news! I've been so overwhelmed designing, stitching, creating, crocheting... but now it's time to show you what I have produced... This year we celebrate the bi centenary of Pride and Prejudice, the wonderful novel from my beloved Jane Austen, so I created these 4 hand painted thread keepers, with the unique help of my friend Rosanna.

I think they are awesome... so romantic, so elegant... Four different designs to celebrate the eternal love of Elisabeth and Darcy: 1813 - 2013... two centuries of love :)))

My dear sisters' stitchers, I swear: I LOVE JANE AUSTEN. She was a so clever woman, and she is absolutely my favorite writer (with Dickens...). This is my personal interpretation of her famous profile . A very elegant and simple pattern. The pattern contains 3 designs: one for the pillow, one for the framed one and.... a little and cute surprise :-), a little mystery .... I hope you will love this one. Have a special week !
